Welcome to our website!
Although there was no art curriculum within her high school at the time, Linda Lambrecht Stych had plenty of creative encouragement from her family and the world around her in the small community of Red Cloud, Nebraska, where she was raised.
Her first formal art education experience began at Nebraska Wesleyan where she attended classes for two years. She then married Jim Stych of Clay Center and later finished her requirements for a degree in art education at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
For several years, she served as an instructor and Artsist-in-Residence for the public school systems in Schuyler, Lincoln and Southeast Community College.
“After a very special little girl was born into our family, I chose to pursue my art career from home...where I daily thank the Lord for that privilege. Over the years I have entered numerous juried art shows and conducted occasional workshops throughout Nebraska, Colorado and California. I am now blessed to be able to paint from home at 8900 feet in Conifer, Colorado, near the Pike National Forest. (Which is an hourly inspiration for which I am most grateful.)”
Thank you so much for your interest in my artwork. Feel free to call me at 720.470.1043.
